Ghanaian attacking midfielder Lawrence Setordjie of Accra Lions is being linked with a move to Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt as the German club explore options to strengthen their squad. The 18-year-old, who operates primarily as an attacking midfielder, has emerged as a potential target following his breakthrough campaign in the Ghana Premier League.
Setordjie, born in Adidome in July 2008, has accumulated 27 league appearances for Accra Lions, scoring once and providing three assists. He has logged 1,375 minutes in the top flight, a run of games that has brought him to the attention of scouts monitoring emerging talent in West Africa. Frankfurt are understood to be assessing whether to progress their interest, with the player having established himself as a regular for the Accra club.
The midfielder, who stands at 1.68m and is right-footed, wears the number 10 shirt for Accra Lions and has quickly become part of their first-team structure after stepping up from the youth ranks. He joined the senior side from Accra Lions U17 on 1 May 2024 and has remained with the club since, gaining consistent experience at domestic level.
Setordjie is currently contracted to Accra Lions, with no formal expiry date publicly disclosed, leaving the Ghanaian side in a strong position as they consider how to respond to interest from Europe.
