EXCLUSIVE: Jonathan Sowah on the brink of Young Africans move

Former Medeama striker Jonathan Sowah is on the cusp of securing a move to Young Africans from Al Nasr Benghazi, according to sources from kickoffghana.com.

The striker was signed from Medeama after an impressive season in the Mauve and Yellow’s title charge, scoring 12 times.

Al Nasr Benghazi secured a deal for the player during the first round of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.

However, Young Africans – who played in Medeama’s group in the CAF Champions League – are on the verge of wrapping up an agreement with Jonathan Sowah to become their new signing.

Sowah, who missed a spot kick when he faced Young Africans in Dar Es Salam, was a part of the Black Stars squad that featured at the 2023 AFCON in Ivory Coast – albeit being left out of the matchday squads.
