Former Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has challenged the Black Stars to secure maximum points in their upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar.
Ghana will host Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium on March 21 before facing Madagascar in Morocco on March 24.
With qualification on the line, Agyemang-Badu, a member of Ghana’s 2014 World Cup squad, stressed the need for focus and determination to claim victory in both fixtures.
“Operation six points. Chad and Madagascar must go down,” he declared in an interview with Sporty FM.
“If we can’t beat them, then we have no business going to the World Cup,” he added.
The Black Stars currently sit joint top of Group I with nine points, level with Comoros, after securing crucial back-to-back wins against Mali and the Central African Republic.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
