EXCLUSIVE: Apoel Nicosia close to finalising deal for Cheetah’s Charles Yaw Appiah

Cyrpros giants Apoel Nicosia are inches away from finding an amicable agreement with Cheetah FC for Yaw Appiah.

The 18-year-old Yaw, took the Cyrpros giants aback with his splendid performances on his European tour last year, mesmerizing spectators, scouts and neutrals with his remarkable ball-juggling ability.

The impending transfer is details away from completion as both parties are working around the clock to find a suitable agreement, with Apoel aiming to strengthen their team after winning the league on a nerve-wracking basis last season (goal difference on the final day).

Yaw is highly rated in the ranks of the club and is tipped to follow in the footsteps of the late Christian Atsu, with his unique acceleration and change of direction bearing semblance to the iconic Lionel Messi.

The Kasoa-based outfit (Cheetah Fc) have managed to reach an agreement with Apoel on Sunday, June 16, 2024, with personal terms between the 18-year-old midfielder and the club being the only obstacle.

Personal terms, however, are set to be resolved in the next 48 hours.
