CAF congratulates GFA on major steps in Club Licensing

The Technical Development Division of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has extended a congratulatory message to the Ghana Football Association and its Club Licensing Department for its major steps in the implementation of the Club Licensing Online Platform (CLOP).

Ghana is among very few member associations in Africa who have decided to implement the Club Licensing Online Platform for its betPawa Premier League and especially the second tier competition, the Access Bank Division One League.

In a message sent to the GFA via the Club Licensing Manager, Mr. Julius Ben Emunah, CAF’s Technical Development Division Member Mr. Hamza Sarouri mentioned “I am writing on behalf of CAF Technical Development Division to extend our heartfelt congratulations to you and your team on using the CLOP platform for other Tier division.

This is a remarkable achievement and a testament to your dedication and hard work. The use of systems like CLOP can help streamline operations, improve data analysis, and provide a better overall experience for both players and fans”

The Ghana Football Association is a pioneer member Association in the implementation of the Club Licensing Regime which started in the year 2012 and continues to show leadership and development in this area of so much importance to the professionalism of football in the modern era.
