FC AshantiGold have appointed Karim Zito as their new technical directorate, taking over as the head coach of the technical team.
Zito, a former Asante Kotoko coach, brings a wealth of experience and a winning mindset to the team.
His appointment comes as the club pushes for promotion to the Ghana Premier League, currently leading Division One League Zone 2 with 40 points from 20 matches.
Zito’s experience in Ghanaian football is impressive, having guided Kotoko to multiple trophies, including the FA Cup, President’s Cup, and Toyota Cup.
He also had a notable stint with Dreams FC, leading them to a semi-final finish in the CAF Confederation Cup.
FC AshantiGold believes Zito’s tactical acumen, discipline, and winning mentality will help them secure promotion to the top-flight.
“Karim Zito has joined us as the new head of our technical directorate so he will be the head coach of the technical team,” Seth Ofori told 3Sports.
Seth Ofori Acheampong, GM of FC AshantiGold, expressed confidence in Zito’s appointment, stating he’s the right man to lead the technical team.
