Ghanaian striker Benjamin Tetteh is being linked with a move from NK Maribor to Kalba FC in the UAE Pro League. The 29-year-old centre-forward remains under contract with the Slovenian club until 31 May 2027, so any transfer would require an agreement between the two clubs.
Tetteh joined Maribor permanently from FC Metz on 1 July 2025, following a loan spell with the club during the 2024-25 season. He made a significant impact in the Prva Liga last season, finishing as the competition’s top scorer with 12 goals.
The forward has yet to make an appearance for Maribor in the 2026-27 Prva Liga campaign, with six possible games listed so far. His current market value is €900,000.
A move to Kalba would take Tetteh to the UAE Pro League after a career that has also included spells with Hull City, Turkish side Yeni Malatyaspor and Czech club Sparta Prague. He won the Czech Cup with Sparta in the 2019-20 season and the Belgian Cup with Standard Liege in 2016.
Tetteh developed in Ghana with Tudu Mighty Jets and Dreams FC before moving to Standard Liege in 2015. He is currently registered as a Maribor player, with his contract running through the end of May 2027.
