Asante Kotoko coach Karim Zito remains convinced that his side can still fight their way to the Ghana Premier League title, even as their struggles continue.
The Porcupine Warriors have hit a difficult stretch, following up a loss to Young Apostles with a 1–0 defeat to Hohoe United on Matchday 13.
William Oduro’s first-half strike proved decisive at the Hohoe Sports Stadium, extending Kotoko’s winless run to four matches.
The latest setback leaves Kotoko fifth on the league table with 21 points, five behind leaders Medeama SC.
Their recent dip has raised concerns among supporters, but Zito insists the team’s ambitions have not changed.
“I haven’t lost hope of winning the league, and we will bounce back stronger,” he said.
Kotoko now shift focus to Matchday 14, where they host Dreams FC at the Baba Yara Stadium.
