The noise is growing louder.
But interim head coach Asante Kotoko, Prince Yaw Owusu, insists he is unshaken by calls for his dismissal after another frustrating result in the Ghana Premier League.
The Porcupine Warriors were held to a goalless draw by 10-man Vision FC at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday in their Matchday 24 encounter — a result that has intensified scrutiny around the technical bench.
Kotoko had the numerical advantage.
They had home support behind them.
But they lacked the cutting edge.
With just three matches under his watch since replacing Karim Zito, Owusu now finds himself at the centre of growing fan frustration. Yet the interim boss remains calm — almost defiant.
“They are free to call for it (my sack), that is a decision for management to make. For me, I’m not worried about it,” he declared.
“I just go out there and do my job and leave the rest to management. If they make the call today, I will respect it.”
Kotoko sit fourth on 39 points — still within touching distance of the summit — but patience among the faithful is wearing thin as crucial points slip away.
Next up is a tricky clash against Karela United on Matchday 25.
For Prince Yaw Owusu, the equation is simple:
Results must follow.
Or the calls may grow impossible to ignore.
