We feel the pain of Asante Kotoko fans – David Ocloo after Nsoatreman defeat

Asante Kotoko’s assistant coach, David Ocloo, is urging fans to remain patient despite the team’s disappointing performance in the Ghana Premier League’s second half of the 2023-2024 season.

Following Kotoko’s 2-1 defeat to Nsoatreman FC at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi, Ocloo emphasized the need for understanding from supporters, especially amidst a series of disappointing results.

The loss marked the team’s fifth defeat in six games, highlighting their struggles in the latter stages of the league.

Addressing concerns in a post-game interview, Ocloo acknowledged the team’s lack of concentration as a contributing factor to the recent setbacks.

Despite narrowly avoiding a six-game winless streak with a controversial goalless draw against Bechem United, Ocloo urged fans to maintain their support for the team during this challenging period.

“It’s unfortunate, and I feel their pain,” Ocloo expressed, “but they should bear with us. This is football, and sometimes, these things happen. They should just bear with us and keep supporting us. We will definitely turn things around.”
