We’ve exceeded our target this season – Nsoatreman FC coach Maxwell Konadu

Nsoatreman FC coach Maxwell Konadu says his outfit has exceeded their target in the ongoing Ghana Premier League campaign.

With 35 points from 25 matches, the Nsoatre-based club find themselves in the fifth position of the Ghana Premier League standings.

On Thursday, the former Ghana assistant coaches exhibited his tactical prowess to help Nsoatreman FC defeat Asante Kotoko 2-1 at the Baba Yara Stadium in week 25 of the Ghanaian top-flight.

The visitors shot into the lead after midfielder Abdul Manaf Umar netted the opening goal for Nsoatreman in the 23rd minute from close range.

However, they managed to claw their way back into the game just before halftime, courtesy of a strike from midfielder Shadrack Addo, assisted by Enock Morrison.

Nsoatreman sealed their victory in stoppage time with a decisive goal from Mohammed Abdul Rahman.

With nine matches to end the season, the former Legon Cities tactician says his side has exceeded their target.

“Per the discussion I had with my boss before the season begun, I think we have exceeded our target even though the season is not over” he said in audio aired on Kessben FM monitored by Footballghana.com.

Nsoatreman FC will face Great Olympics at the Nana Koramansah Park in matchday 26 of the Ghana Premier League this weekend.
