We are disappointed with the draw against Dreams FC – Legon Cities assistant coach Ahmed Tijani

Assistant coach of Legon Cities FC, Ahmed Tijani has assessed the team’s draw against Dreams FC on Wednesday afternoon.

In a post-match interview, the coach said the team is disappointed the match ended in a draw.

“Good game but we are disappointed not to win,” coach Ahmed Tijani said while adding, “I think the draw is a true reflection of the game. We created many chances but in the end, we have to settle for a point.”

The coach further defended fringe players who had the chance to play. In his estimation, they did well in the match and helped Legon Cities FC to earn a point from the game.

“We missed couple of players but all these players you saw today are our players that we registered from the beginning of the season. We just gave them the confidence to go and they did that well.

“We can just put this behind us. Work hard in training and go again on Sunday,” coach Ahmed Tijani said.

Up next for Legon Cities FC, the team will take on Nsoatreman FC in Week 13 of the Ghana Premier League season.
