Ghana Premier League club Accra Great Olympics has set its sights on winning all of its remaining games in an effort to escape the looming threat of relegation.
The club’s PRO, Saint Osei, made it clear that they are not taking the situation lightly and are determined to secure their place in the league.
The Accra-based club is currently in a precarious position as the league approaches its end. The Dade Boys, as they are known, are barely hanging on above the relegation zone. However, they have already made their first move towards survival by defeating Asante Kotoko 1-0 on match day 32.
In a statement to Peace FM, monitored by Footballghana.com, Osei emphasized the club’s commitment to their goal. “It will not be possible (going to relegation),” he said.
“We will cement why the Wonder Club of Ghana from today to the last match that we will play we have tagged the rest of the matches as do or die. So that is the mantra we are going with, we are not leaving any stone unturned, Great Olympics will never be relegated,” he added.
