Black Stars duo Kamaldeen Sulemana and Kudus Mohammed have been spotted in a recent social media post, spending time out in Mykonos, Greece.
The duo helped the Black Stars secure back-to-back wins for the first time since 2023, with victories against Mali and Central African Republic in the 2026 Fifa World Cup qualifiers, revealing their efforts and dedication to the team.
Kudus and Kamaldeen, who are both products of the famous right to Dream academy, have had similar career trajectories, playing for Right to Dream, Nordsjaelland, before taking different turns.
For Kamaldeen, he was largely injured through the Championship season and missed the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), recovering at the tail end of the season.
Meanwhile, Mohammed Kudus had a stunning first season after moving from Ajax to West Ham, contributing immensely to the Hammers season and walking away with the team’s goal of the season gong.
Southampton – Kamaldeen’s club – secured qualification to the Premier League after a nerve-wrenching 1-0 win over Leeds in the playoffs final at Wembley.
Both players will aim to return back from their time out at Mykonos unscathed and commence pre-season preparations with their respective clubs as Southampton take on Newcastle, while West Ham welcome Villa on August 17, 2024.
