Ghana Premier League side, Legon Cities held Namibia to a 1-1 draw in a friendly game ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.

The first half ended in a goalless draw, as both teams struggled to find the back of the net, despite creating many chances.

The Royals took the lead after the break through Kwabena Boateng before Bethuel Muzeu had the equaliser in the injury time to level the score at the Union Park in Legon.

The Sothern Africans are currently in Ghana preparing for the continental competition which will be hosted in Ivory Coast this month.

They will lock horns with the Black Stars on January 8 before leaving for the main tournament in Ivory Coast.

Namibia are paired in Group E against neighbours South Africa, Mali and Tunisia.

The Africa Cup of Nations will kick off on January 13th in Abidjan.
