Bechem United head coach Kobina Amissah expressed quiet satisfaction after his side earned a point against Hearts of Oak in Accra.
The goalless contest took place at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium in Week 21 of the Ghana Premier League.
Bechem United spent large periods without the ball as Hearts dictated play and pressed for a winner.
Despite the pressure, the Hunters stayed organised and limited the Phobians to half-chances.
Their defensive discipline proved decisive as the match wore on without a breakthrough.
After the final whistle, Amissah revealed the result aligned with his game plan.
“We came in with a strategy to at least hold them and go back with a point,” he said.
The Bechem coach has already turned attention to their upcoming home fixture.
“They [Young Apostles] beat us 3-2 over there. So, it’s our time to take revenge. So we are going to make sure we get our points at Bechem.”
The draw leaves Bechem United sitting 11th on the league table as they prepare for that response.
