President of the Ghana Football Association Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku has provided positive updates on some key projects earmarked for the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence at Prampram.
He says the Executive Council has granted approval for the construction of two first class grass pitches to add to the existing pitches at the facility. The two new pitches will increase the total number of grass pitches at the Technical Centre to four when completed.
“We are still investing in the game for the construction of two natural first class pitches at the Technical Centre, this work will start in August and it will add up to the existing pitch infrastructure we have in Prampram’’ President Simeon-Okraku.
‘’I know we have already spoken about the betPawa pitch as part of our desire to fix the problems we have identified” he added.
The facility is expected to host Premier League and lower Division matches and also provide the needed platform for our players to develop their talents and skills.
This project will be funded by proceeds from FIFA Forward 2.0.
