Asante Kotoko right-back Lord Amoah has received a late call-up to join the Black Galaxies squad ahead of their international friendly against South Africa, sources say.
The defender is expected to report to camp immediately after Kotoko’s FA Cup fixture against Future Stars on Wednesday.
The late invitation comes as the technical team looks to strengthen the squad options ahead of the test match, which forms part of preparations for upcoming assignments. Amoah’s impressive displays for the Porcupine Warriors this season are believed to have influenced the decision.
