Relief is on the horizon.
Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus is targeting an April return as he steps up recovery from the hamstring injury that has kept him sidelined since early January.
The influential attacker picked up the setback during a 1-1 draw against Sunderland on January 4 and was ruled out for up to three months. Since then, there have been no reported complications — a major boost for both club and country.
In February, Kudus travelled back to Amsterdam to consult a specialist he previously worked with during his time at AFC Ajax, accelerating efforts to fast-track his rehabilitation.
Now, April is firmly in his sights.
The 23-year-old is expected to resume full training after the March international break, provided his recovery remains on schedule.
His absence has come at a turbulent time for Tottenham Hotspur, whose struggles deepened in recent weeks, ultimately leading to the dismissal of Thomas Frank. Croatian tactician Igor Tudor has since been appointed until the end of the season in a bid to steady the ship.
For Ghana, the injury means Kudus will miss upcoming international friendlies against Austria and Germany, fixtures lined up as part of preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
But if all goes to plan, April could mark the return of one of Ghana’s most electrifying talents.
And for Spurs and the Black Stars, that return cannot come soon enough.
