2022/23 Ghana Premier League: Week 7 Match Preview- Asante Kotoko vs Legon Cities

Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko will be seeking to beat Legon Cities in their penultimate fixture against Legon Cities before the 2022 World Cup break.

The Porcupine Warriors will be entertaining the Royals at the Baba Yara Stadium in matchday 7 of the Ghana Premier League on Wednesday afternoon.

The defending league champions are second on the league log with 13 points, trailing leaders, Accra Lions with 2 points after six matches into the campaign.

Seydou Zerbo and his charges will go into the clash with full confidence, knowing that a win against Legon Cities could propel the club to the top of the table before the break.

Kotoko have managed four wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat in the six matches played so far in the league.

Meanwhile, Legon Cities, who have not fared bad this season will be eyeing Asante Kotoko scalp this afternoon.

The Royals will be drawing inspiration from the 3-1 win against Kotoko at the same venue last season to negotiate for a better result at the end of the game.

They are 6th on the table with 10 points after six matches into the domestic top-flight campaign.

Maxwell Konadu’s side has managed 3 wins, 1 draw and 2 defeats in the six matches played so far.
