Three former Right to Dream Academy graduates – Mohammed Kudus, Simon Adingra & Ousmane Diomande – have been ranked amongst the top 10 most valuable players on the African continent, according to CIES Football Observatory.
CIES Observatory, a group responsible for research and doubles as a football agency, has placed Mohammed Kudus 2nd, Ousmande Diomande 7th and Simon Adingra 10th.
For Adingra, his Africa Cup of Nations exploits with Ivory Coast has skyrocketed his value to €47.8m, whereas Mohammed Kudus’ consistent display at West Ham has made him a topic of discussion amongst elite clubs. Diomande’s successful loan spell at Rangers from his parent club (Sporting CP) has earned him admirers as well.
From the latest compilation from the CIES, Mohammed Kudus is second only to Chelsea and Senegalese star Nicolas Jackson, with the Ghanaian valued at €89.6m.
The trio (Kudus, Diomande & Adingra) began their football journeys with Right to Dream Academy – a renowned football hub in Ghana, known for churning and grooming young talents across Africa.
The inclusion of the duo, alongside Ousmande Diomande, underscores the work put in by members of the academy to get the best out of young talents.
