Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed Thomas Partey is part of squad to play Tottenham in the North London derby on Saturday.
The Black Stars midfielder was a major doubt for the fixture after leaving Ghana’s camp early due to a suspected knee injury during the international break.
Partey withdrew from the Ghana squad to face Nicaragua having already missed the Black Stars’ 3-0 defeat to Brazil.
However, the 29 year old seems to have made a timely recovery to be ready for Saturday’s contest.
Arteta confirmed the latest development during his pre-match press conference on Friday.
Depending on how the game pans out, Partey could feature against Tottenham if the coach sees fit.
