Tamale City FC striker Sampson Eduku has been nominated for the Player-Of-The-Month – January – award and believes his performances and quality as a player are the reasons for the recognition.
The attacker has been impressive for his club, scoring 6 goals and providing 3 assists in 10 matches.
Despite facing stiff competition from other players including Issah Kuka of Real Tamale United FC and Steven Mukwala of Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC, the former Hasaacas man is confident of claiming the prize.
In an interview with Asanteman FM, Eduku stated that his performance and quality have defined his status as a player and he is proud to be nominated for the award.
“My performance and quality have been able to define my status as a player ,which is why I was nominated.”
The Ghana Football Association will announce the winner of the Player-Of-The-Month award on Friday.
