Francis Oti-Akenteng has been named technical director and youth team coach by Bechem United.
The former CAF instructor recently left his role as head coach of Division II side Asikem FC. Oti Akenteng served the Ghana Football Association in different capacities dating back to 2006 when he was first appointed by CAF as the technical head.
Bechem United took to its official Twitter page to tweet: “We are delighted to announce that an agreement has been reached with ??????? ???-???????? as our TECHNICAL DIRECTOR & YOUTH TEAM HEAD COACH. The club wishes him all the best of luck,”
Oti-Akenteng will oversee the club’s technical operations, including creating game plans and a playing philosophy for the Hunters.
Bechem United, who made the FA Cup final the previous year, is now third in the Ghana Premier League standings.
On Friday, the Hunters will host their opponents, Aduana Stars, for the league’s matchday 17 game.
