Eleven Wonders secured their second win of the season with a 2-0 victory over Basake Holy Stars in the Ghana Premier League.
Rauf Munah was the hero of the night, scoring both goals in the second half.
He broke the deadlock in the 48th minute and doubled the lead four minutes later, sealing the win for the home side.
Basake Holy Stars dominated possession and created chances but lacked the cutting edge in front of goal.
Eleven Wonders, on the other hand, defended resolutely and were clinical in their attack, holding on to secure the three points.
This win is a much-needed boost for Eleven Wonders, who were struggling at the bottom of the table.
Coach Emmanuel Aidoo praised his team’s improved execution in the second half, saying, “The first half was for them, and they couldn’t make use of their chances. In the second half, we also took over.”
