Ghana Champions Medeama SC will open their CAF Champions League campaign with an away duel against holders Al Ahly at the Cairo International stadium on November 24/25,2023.
The Tarkwa lads who are playing in the competition for the first time are in a very difficult group that comprise Al Ahly, Young Africans of Tanzania and CR Belouizdad from Algeria.
They will host CR Belouizdad on Matchday 2 on December 1/2,2023 before welcoming Young Africans at the Cape Coast stadium on December 8/9,2023 to complete the first round of the League.
Medeama SC will wrap up the group stage with a home game against Egyptian giants Al Ahly on March 1/2,2024 after traveling to Algeria to face CR Belouizdad (December 19) and Tanzania for the clash against Young Africans (23-24 February).
