Asante Kotoko have announced its pre-season schedule for the 2025/26 season, aiming to bounce back from a disappointing previous campaign.
According to Kotoko’s itinerary, the club’s players will report to camp on Sunday, July 13, under the guidance of coach Karim Zito, and medical assessments and training will commence the following day.
A highlight of their pre-season preparations is a trip to South Africa for the prestigious Toyota Cup, where they’ll face Premier Soccer League side Kaizer Chiefs on July.
This high-profile friendly match is expected to provide a tough test for the Porcupine Warriors ahead of their domestic and continental campaigns.
After the match, the team will return to Ghana on July 29 to continue their preparations for the upcoming Ghana Premier League and CAF Confederation Cup assignments.
The Kumasi-based club hopes to use the Toyota Cup as a benchmark to assess their progress and make a strong comeback in the domestic and continental competitions.
