Karela United winger Bless Ege has completed a move to Mexican Premier League club Querétaro FC in the ongoing transfer window.
The highly-rated youngster has joined the Liga MX outfit on a season-long loan from the Ghana Premier League side following his impressive performances for Karela United. Ege departed Ghana on Wednesday to begin a new chapter of his career in Mexico.
The move represents a rapid international step for the winger, who only joined Karela United at the start of the 2025/26 season.
Despite his short stay with the Pride and Passion Boys, Ege made a notable impact, scoring four goals in 15 appearances across competitions.
Ege first rose to prominence last season after playing a key role in Division One League side Golden Kick’s remarkable run to the MTN FA Cup final, a performance that established him as one of the most sought-after young talents on the domestic scene.
His exploits attracted interest from several top-flight clubs, including Hearts of Oak, before he eventually opted to sign for Karela United ahead of the current campaign.
Blessed with pace, directness and an eye for decisive moments, Ege’s qualities have now earned him an opportunity to test himself on the international stage.
For Karela United, the winger’s departure so soon after his arrival is a significant development, and the club will now be forced to adjust its squad as the season progresses
