Hohoe United have ushered in a new era on the technical bench after Turkish coach Kasim Gokyildiz arrived in the Volta Region as their head coach.
The experienced trainer takes over as head coach following the departure of Tijani Bashiru, with both parties agreeing to go their separate ways.
The club’s decision comes at a critical moment in the season as they fight to preserve their Ghana Premier League status.
The Turkish tactician is no stranger to Ghanaian football, having previously handled King Faisal and Rainmasters, now known as Hakla Sporting Club.
Beyond the local scene, he boasts extensive coaching experience across Europe, working with men’s, women’s and youth teams in Turkey and Germany.
Hohoe United will be hoping that pedigree translates into quick results, starting with their upcoming clash against Young Apostles.
