HIGHLIGHTS: Berekum Chelsea kick off season with an impressive 2-0 win against King Faisal

Berekum Chelsea have climbed to the top of the Ghana Premier League table after a 2-0 victory over King Faisal on Monday afternoon.

The new Ghanaian top-flight league season has commenced this weekend with all but just one of the scheduled nine matches not played.

Today, Berekum Chelsea hosted King Faisal at the Nana Agyemang Badu Stadium to fight for the maiden three points of the campaign.

Following a very good start to the campaign, a strike from Afriyie Mezack in the 11^th minute shot the home team into the deserved lead.

Despite the efforts of King Faisal to get back into the game, the team could not score.

After recess, Berekum Chelsea killed the game in the 57^th minute when Awuah Dramani netted the second goal for the side.

Eventually, at the end of the 90 minutes, the Blues secured all three points thanks to the 2-0 victory over King Faisal.
