Former Liverpool star Glen Johnson believes Antoine Semenyo could be an option for the Reds if any of their main attackers leave this summer.
With doubts over the futures of Darwin Núñez, Luis Díaz and Diogo Jota, Johnson thinks Liverpool may need fresh firepower up front.
Semenyo, who plays for Bournemouth and represents Ghana internationally, has impressed with 11 goals and 6 assists in 39 outings this season.
“Maybe Semenyo – he’s quick, powerful, explosive, ” the former Liverpool defender told Football Insider.
“But it would, obviously, be a massive step forward playing for Liverpool. You never know what someone can do until you chuck them in the deep end. I’d probably pick him.”
Manchester United are closely monitoring the situation of the Black Stars forward with Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr targeting him as an alternative in the summer.
