Former Black Queens coach Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo has expressed confidence in the team ahead of their crucial Group C clash with Tanzania at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
With just one point from two games, Ghana must win tonight’s match at the Berkane Municipal Stadium to stay in the tournament.
Tagoe praised FIFA, CAF, and member associations for the progress in women’s football and said she believes in the current squad.
“Every Ghanaian wants to see the Black Queens win the Cup. I believe in these girls we’ve assembled,” she told CAF Online.
