Ghanaian winger Ziyad Salifu has joined Swedish Division 1 Sodra club Rosengard 1917 on loan from Allsvenskan side Degerfors IF.

The move has been completed officially and gives Salifu the chance to pursue more regular first-team football as he continues his development in Sweden.

Salifu is regarded as one of Ghana’s promising young attacking players. His temporary switch to Rosengard 1917 is intended to provide valuable competitive experience and the playing time needed to support his progress.

The winger will now aim to make an immediate impact with Rosengard 1917 while continuing to develop his game. The loan also offers him an opportunity to demonstrate his ability in a first-team environment and build towards a more established role at the highest level.

For Degerfors IF, the arrangement allows Salifu to continue his development through regular football away from the club. For Rosengard 1917, his arrival adds a talented Ghanaian attacking player to their squad for the loan period.

Salifu’s next step will be to adapt to his new surroundings and use the opportunity to gain important minutes in Swedish football. The move represents another stage in the youngster’s efforts to develop and establish himself as a senior player.

Rosengard 1917 compete in Swedish Division 1 Sodra, while Degerfors IF play in the Allsvenskan. By moving between the two clubs on loan, Salifu will continue his progression within the Swedish game while remaining contracted to Degerfors IF.

The Ghanaian will be expected to use his pace, attacking qualities and ability on the wing to help Rosengard 1917, while the club will provide him with the platform to show what he can contribute in competitive football.

His spell at Rosengard 1917 will therefore be focused on two objectives: contributing to the team and gaining the first-team experience required for his longer-term development. The loan gives Salifu the chance to play a more regular role and continue working towards establishing himself at the highest level of Swedish football.
