On-loan Chelsea winger Christian Atsu has been declared unfit for Malaga’s clash with Real Madrid in the Spanish La Liga on Sunday.
The 24-year-old returned to training for Los Boquerones but manager Javi Garcia during the week after suffering an injury a fortnight.
But the Spanish tactician has decided to exclude the former FC Porto star who scored on his debut for the club from his squad for the game.
Atsu joined Malaga in the winter on a six-month loan deal from Chelsea and has featured once since his arrival at the club.
Real Madrid are also without in-form French striker Karim Benzema for the game at the La Rosaleda.
