Executive Council Member Frederick Acheampong has been approved as Chairman of the Black Starlets Management Committee. The former AshantiGold SC Chief Executive Officer has loads of experience in both club and national team football and has been working for CAF/FIFA as General Coordinator since 2019.
Frederick Acheampong has provided services for a number of CAF organized competitions including the 2021 CAF Super Cup between Al Ahly and Raja Casablanca, the 2019 WAFU Cup of Nations in Senegal, the 2021 Beach Soccer Cup of Nations in Senegal, CAF Inter club competitions and the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Cote D’Ivoire.
Chairman of the Eastern Regional Football Association Linford Asamoah Boadu will serve as Vice Chairman of the Committee.
The Committee is mandated to ensure Ghana’s qualification to the next U-17 Africa Cup of Nation and the U-17 FIFA World Cup.
