Ghanaian midfielder Shadrack Addo has joined Atletico Madrid’s Juvenil A team on loan from Spanish side Trival Valderas until the end of the 2025-26 season.

Addo, a former Asante Kotoko player, has impressed with his energetic midfield displays and high pressing, catching the eye of several top Spanish clubs, including Real Madrid and Villarreal, before Atletico Madrid secured his services.

Addo, who holds Spanish-Ghanaian roots, scored once for Asante Kotoko before moving to Europe. He’s expected to compete in the Youth Division of Honour with Atletico Madrid’s Juvenil A team.
