FIFA U-17 WWCQ: We are very prepared for Morocco game – Black Maidens captain Ayisha Aoyem

Black Maidens captain Jane Ayisha Aoyem has disclosed that his side is well prepared ahead of the 1st leg of the final round of qualifiers for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Morocco.

Ghana are two games away from a record 7th appearance at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.

The Maidens knocked out Guinea to reach final round of the U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifiers after a 7-0 triumph in the second leg at the Cape Coast stadium to progress on a 10-1 aggregate.

“We are very prepared for the game. This particular game is very important to us because a win will help us qualify for the World Cup and we are all aiming to play and win,” Aoyem said at the pre-match press conference.

“We need the support and prayers of Ghanaians because their support has kept and brought us this far. We will be expecting more of it on Friday.”

The Black Maidens are scheduled to take on Morocco on Friday, May 20, 2022 at 3:00pm at the Accra Sports stadium.
