The Ghana Football Association will organise a draw on Monday, August 14, 2023 at 5pm ahead of a three-team competition to determine the replacement for WAFA FC.
This follows WAFA’s decision to withdraw from the Division One League Zone 2 to focus on youth development in the Volta Region. The GFA therefore decided to hold a three-team competition between the second placed teams the three regions that make up Zone Two.
Mahala FC who placed second in the Ashanti Regional Division Two League will face Team Move FC and Young Red Bull Academy who placed second in the Western and Central Regions respectively.
The draw which will be held at the GFA Secretariat on Monday will determine team A,B & C in accordance with the fixtures.
