West Ham United’s manager, David Moyes, has expressed his delight at the promising start of Ghanaian attacker Mohammed Kudus at the club.

Kudus made his second appearance for the Hammers over the weekend, coming on as a substitute in the second half during their clash with Manchester City.

Despite James Ward Prowse opening the scoring early and giving West Ham the lead, Moyes’ team eventually suffered a 3-1 defeat to the reigning Premier League champions. However, Kudus, in his limited time on the pitch, showcased his skills and potential.

When questioned about his thoughts on the 23-year-old’s performance as a second-half substitute against the league leaders, Moyes commented, “We might need to wait a little bit more time for Dinos and Mo (Kudus) to get settled in, but overall I am really pleased with how they have started.”

Mohammed Kudus made a high-profile move to West Ham United this summer, transferring from Ajax in a significant deal worth £34 million.
