Ghanaian youngster Ibrahim Sadiq made his long-awaited debut for AZ Alkmaar in a thrilling encounter against Sparta Rotterdam. The 23-year-old, who recently joined the Dutch outfit from BK Hacken, left an indelible mark on his first appearance for the club.

Sadiq began his AZ Alkmaar journey from the bench, but it didn’t take long for him to make his presence felt. In the 72nd minute, he received the call to enter the game, replacing Mayckel Lahdo.

AZ Alkmaar swiftly turned the tide of the game in their favor, hitting the back of the net in a remarkable span of just one minute. The duo of Dani De Wit and Vangelis Pavlidis, with their clinical finishing, secured a comfortable victory for the club.

As the season progresses, all eyes will be on Sadiq as he aims to make a more significant impact and contribute to AZ Alkmaar’s quest for domestic and European success.
