Medeama coach Ibrahim Tanko is throwing his weight behind in-form midfielder Salim Adams for a Black Stars call-up.
“Salim Adams is a complete midfielder and we don’t have his type in the Black Stars,” Tanko said, praising Adams’ impressive performances in the Ghana Premier League.
Adams has scored five goals in 19 league matches for Medeama, who are pushing for their second league title.
The 23-year-old midfielder has been in top form, earning him recognition from fans and the technical team.
“With the Black Stars technical team closely monitoring the league, I’m sure he is going to get his chance into the team,” Tanko added.
Adams, who previously played for Ghana’s U23 side, is ready for the challenge, saying “I’m 100% prepared for a Black Stars call-up.”
