Head coach of Bofoakwa Tano John Eduafo is upbeat about their chances of surviving relegation at the end of the Ghana Premier League campaign.
The Premier League returnees currently find themselves in the relegation zone, with eleven games to end the 2023/24 season.
With 26 points, the Sunyani-based club occupies 16th position on the league standings after 23 matches and must play above themselves to beat the drop.
Speaking after his sides triumph over Skyy FC in the FA Cup quarterfinals, John Eduafo, a member of the Kotoko’s technical team that clinched the GPL title seasons ago expressed optimism about his outfit surviving relegation at the end of the season.
“It’s not over for us. We still have about eleven games to play and we are hoping that we will win certain matches, build up points and be able to survive. We still have hope that we will survive” he said.
Bofoakwa Tano will lock horns with Bechem United in the week 24 of the Ghana Premier League this weekend at the Sunyani Coronation Park.
Meanwhile, Bofoakwa Tano in contention for the FA Cup title after eliminating Skyy FC on penalties to reach the semifinals.
