Henry Asante Twum, director of Communication for Ghana FA, has quashed rumors of any friction with the newly appointed members of the Communications Department.
Recent local media reports suggested that Twum was facing difficulties working with the new hires, Patrick Akoto and Tophic Kadir, who joined the FA as senior managers, and Neil Armstrong, the new Head of PR and Strategy.
Addressing the speculation, Twum clarified that he has not experienced any issues with the new appointees. He mentioned that he had been away for 11 days due to matches in Morocco and only resumed work yesterday. Twum emphasized that he shares a strong bond with his new colleagues, both professionally and personally.
“Since they started work I have been away because of the matches we played in Morocco I was away for 11 days I started work yesterday,” he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com
“So far I can’t say that somebody is giving me problems and already even beyond the fact that they hold official positions we already have a relationship off the working space.
“Someone like Patrick he is my brother we eat from the same bowl Tophic I worked with in at GBC and Neil wanted to hire me when he was general manager at Hearts of Oak,”
