Berekum Chelsea skipper Zakaria Fuseini eyes improved performance ahead of Ghana Premier League resumption

Berekum Chelsea captain Zakaria Fuseini is eyeing an improved performance in the second round of the Ghana Premier League.

The domestic top-flight bounces back this weekend after the Africa Cup of Nations tournament, where Ivory Coast emerged as winners.

Chelsea will travel to face Bibiani Goldstars on Sunday at the Duns Park.

Speaking to Footballghana.com, Fuseini demanded for an improved performance in the second half of the campaign.

“We were at the 6th position after the first round ended, we are hoping to do well and do better than we did in the first round” he said.

Berekum Chelsea finished sixth position in the first round of the domestic top-flight campaign.

After 17 games in the first round, Berekum Chelsea managed 8 wins, 3 draws and 6 defeats, accumulating 27 points in the Ghana Premier League.
