Amoah scored the winning goal in NAC Breda’s 2-1 win over Ado Den Haag on the opening weekend of the Dutch season and told KickOffGhana.com he is delighted with his start. He is also hoping his fine start to the season will not be interrupted by injury after his blistering start to the season last year was messed up by injury. “Still twelve league goals was a good return for the striker but he is hoping to do better this term. “Last season my target was to score 15 to 20 goals and I started really well until injury set in so staying fit and strong throughout the season is a major objective. To have started with a goal will do my confidence a lot of good so I hope to continue playing,” he said. Amoah has a good goal scoring record and has already scored three goals this season in competitive games for NAC in the Europa League and Eridivisie. “The fact that we are playing in two competitions means we will be tasked physically and psychologically throughout the season. The games will come thick and fast but I am hoping through it all I can keep scoring.”
