Ghanaian-born Italy striker Kelvin Yeboah helped Genoa defeat Juventus 2-1 to keep their slim hopes of avoiding relegation from Serie A alive.
Yeboah, who came on in the second half, won a penalty late in the game, allowing Genoa to score and win the tight game on Friday night.
Juventus appeared to have won after Paulo Dybala’s goal in the 48th minute, but Genoa staged a late comeback, with Albert Gudmundsson equalizing in the 87th minute.
In added time, Juventus striker Moise Kean failed to score from 11 yards before the home team was awarded a penalty for a foul on Yeboah.
Domenico Criscito scored as Genoa cut the gap to the non-relegation zone to one point.
And with two games remaining. Genoa are confident of six points to stay in the league
Yeboah has recorded two assists in 15 games for Genoa since arriving in January from Austrian side Sturm Graz.
