The attacking midfielder last season left Hearts of Oak to join fellow Ghana Premier League side FC Samartex.

Following interest from Ethiopian club Adama City FC, Frederick Ansah Botchway has subsequently been transferred.

He joins the club with a lot of quality and will be expected to play a big role for the team in the 2022/23 football season.

The former Hearts of Oak midfielder is one of two players signed by Adama City FC.

The Ethiopian club has also secured the services of former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Kwame Baah.

Both Ghanaian players will hope to do well at their new club.
