Ghanaian midfielder Prince Badu has been linked with a move from Asante Kotoko to Ethiopian Premier League club Hadia Hosaina.
Badu, 26, joined Asante Kotoko from Nations FC on 1 January 2026 and remains under contract with the Ghanaian club until 30 June 2028. The reported interest comes with the player valued at €75,000.
The midfielder has made 60 Premier League appearances and scored once during his senior career. Both Asante Kotoko and Hadia Hosaina compete in their respective countries’ top flights, with the Ethiopian side emerging as the club named in connection with a potential move.
Badu’s switch to Asante Kotoko was completed during the 2025-26 season after his spell with Nations FC. He has since been part of the squad at a club that operates in Ghana’s Premier League, while Hadia Hosaina are considering him for a move to Ethiopia.
There has been no indication that an agreement has been reached between the clubs or that personal terms have been settled. The rumour therefore remains at the linking stage, with Badu’s existing contract continuing to run for almost two more years.
Asante Kotoko signed the midfielder earlier in 2026, and any proposed departure would come only months after his arrival. For now, Badu remains an Asante Kotoko player under contract until June 2028.
