Hearts of Oak secured a thrilling 1-0 win against Vision FC at the Legon Sports Stadium on matchday 10 of the Ghana Premier League.
Mawuli Wayo’s second-half strike proved to be the decisive goal, earning the Phobians all three points after a goalless first half.
Vision FC pushed hard for an equalizer, but Hearts’ defense held strong, and a crucial save from Benjamin Asare in stoppage time sealed the victory.
The win marks the Phobians’ second consecutive victory – 2-0 triumph over Medeama SC last week – for the first time since March 2024, moving them up to fourth place with 15 points.
On the other hand, Vision FC has now gone five matches without a win and sits in eleventh place with eleven points.
Hearts of Oak will face Karela United in their next game, while Vision FC will take on Dreams FC.
