Tema Youth coach Odoom blames bad officiating for inconsistent results

Tema Youth coach Edward Odoom claims his side was undone by poor officiating in the first half of the season.

Youth ended the round just above the relegation zone despite turning out impressive performances on the pitch.

The Harbour warriors started the second round of the season on a blistering fashion thrashing league leaders Medeama 4-0 at home last Sunday.

Coach Odoom claims bad refereeing accounted for the poor results recorded in the first half of the season.

“We played one of the best games but unfortunately bad referees ensured we lost some matches we didn’t deserve to lose,” Odoom told Radio XYZ

“Our game against Aduana Stars was a classical example. We dictated the pace and at least deserved a point but the referee awarded a dubious goal to the home side.

“Our performance does not merit our position on the League table.

“I believe if we get fair officiating, we’ll be unbeatable.
